Overview

Lead the talent acquisition function for Mercy Corps in Congo.

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, social sciences or related field.
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition or recruitment.
  • Proven experience in managing complex or large-scale recruitment processes in humanitarian or development contexts.
  • Excellent knowledge of Congolese labor law regarding recruitment and employment practices.
  • Proven ability to design and implement effective sourcing and recruitment strategies.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and digital sourcing tools.
  • Strong interpersonal, persuasion, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Capacity to analyze and use data to inform decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and dynamic environment under pressure.
  • Fluency in French required. Knowledge of English and at least one of the local languages (Lingala, Swahili, or Chiluba) is desirable.
