Facilitate youth engagement activities and manage events effectively.
You have:
- Minimum High school diploma or GED.
- Have a valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation.
- Time management and good organizational skills.
- Experience working with children from different backgrounds preferred.
- Familiarity with trauma informed practice & working with multicultural backgrounds preferred.
- Experience communicating with multilingual people with and without interpretation.
- Flexibility and capability to work and make independent decisions.
- Good interpersonal, adaptable, and collaborative skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks appropriately based on urgency.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitate and supervise student engagement during activities, projects, or presentations. - Travelling off site to schools for events and activities. - Preparing, set up, and tear down for events. - Planning and supervising field trips in coordination with the Youth Program staff.
- Coordinating back to school backpack giveaway in coordination with Youth Program staff. - Complete reporting on summer activities, including attendance. - Participate in all required training. - Comply with the rules and regulations of the IRC
Qualifications REQUIREMENTS:

Work location and schedule:
The program will run Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am-5pm. No weekends. Hours will vary depending on the needs of the program.
Travelling within the Phoenix area will be expected for activities that are off site.
This position reports to the Youth Program Supervisor, Michelle Buttrum
