The GFCR is seeking online volunteers to support with the assignment on "Youth Engagement and Communications Support for the Global Fund for Coral Reefs." The selected volunteers will be responsible for delivering specific communications and engagement products related to GFCR engagement at the 28th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP28).
Deliver event overview package and social media posts for GFCR frontline youth ambassador’s participation in COP28 events;
Develop speaking points for the GFCR frontline youth ambassador;
Create a logistics note for the COP28 GFCR representatives and the GFCR frontline youth ambassador.
Draft press release;
Draft announcement social media posts;
Draft COP28 engagement page on the GFCR website.
Experience in organizing events; Excellent verbal and written English skills; Proficiency in using digital communication tools, social media platforms, and web-based applications; Strong interpersonal skills to engage with staff and external partners; Previous experience in advocacy work, especially related to youth-oriented initiatives, is a plus.
