The UNDP strategic innovation unit has been working on the concept of an interactive product to guide Country Office managers and program colleagues involved in the development of the Country Program Document (CPD) to integrate innovative programmatic approaches into a more rigid programmatic process. This effort capitalizes on a number of mapped initiatives internally in UNDP who used innovative tools to ‘hack’ the CPD process. The team has conceptualized this interactive tool based on an existing ‘subway map’-like diagram of the CPD process. The idea is to provide users (internal UNDP staff) with an interactive map to help them identify ways to use outputs of innovative programmatic approaches at different stages of the CPD design. The interactive product conceptualized will also direct users to internal and external repositories and resources to help them conduct various approaches autonomously or to help them contact the right people to do it. We would therefore need a web developer and/or designer to create and enhance the conceptualized product and test it with users before embedding it in the internal UNDP innovation website.

Task description There are two main assignments linked to this mission Assignment 1: Create an interactive web-based digital product Tasks linked to assignment 1 1. Implement (using either figma prototyping or a web application) a subway map-like interactive experience (map will redirect to external pages and repositories / internal annex pages) following the guidelines and content provided by the technical UNDP team. 2. Coordinate with the UNDP team on a weekly basis to discuss evolution of product/potential changes and adjustments needed to improve user experience. 3. Design of the internal annex pages. 4. Conduct a series of tests with users facilitated by the UNDP team and implement feedback. 5. Embed the product into the UNDP intranet innovation site. Outputs A functional interactive product with the specified aesthetic and content specifications linking to the appropriate internal and external links provided, embedded in the UNDP innovation website.

Assignment 2: creating demo video Create demo video or user onboarding if possible for users to understand how the product works.

Outputs A demo video or onboarding (depending on product-Figma prototype or web application) for users

Development/design using FIGMA application or we development using web-based applications Experience in creating/prototyping and designing digital web-based products using figma or other web-based application
