Overview

Develop visually appealing and user-friendly websites.

You have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in web development.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Drupal CMS development.
  • Bachelor or master's degree in information technology management or Software Engineering or any other relevant field.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Knowledge of current web development technologies and design tools.
  • Excellent knowledge of cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.
  • Hands-on experience in web services and API.
  • Experience with Adobe or graphical development tools.

Result of Service Be a reputable professional/developer with at least 5 years of prior experience in designing visually appealing and navigation friendly web sites; Relevant extensive experience in in programming and CMS development, including versioning of which at least two years are specific to Drupal CMS. Experience in Application management Have a broad knowledge of current web development technologies and design tools in the field, and new software and other web programming languages and programs including use of HTML, XHTML, CSS, XML, XSLT, Macromedia Flash, Java ; Have extensive experience in configuration of Apache web server Relevant Hands-on experience in Web Services (REST/JSON), Multimedia Content Development and API; and Prototype Software experience for Web and Mobile Developments

Have excellent knowledge of: - Cross-browser and responsive compatibility, web user Interface design (UI); - recent trends in graphic design, web sites, including online video publishing, and social media networking; - Security principle, object-oriented design

Expected duration three months (October - December 2022)

Duties and Responsibilities The senior web application developer is responsible for designing, coding and modifying websites, from layout to function according to the OICT and ICTSS functional specifications. He/she creates visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly and clear navigation The role is responsible for the overall development process and assures that all code contributed is in line with the following coding standards: - scripting and coding languages and standards: PHP, AJAX, Java Script, HTML, CSS, PHP, Java Script (including JQuery), MySQL Database. - In the use and configuration of the below applications: Drupal CMS, MySQL Database, Apache web server, Experience with other related applications. - In the use and configuration of the below products and techniques: Search engine optimization, Google Webmaster tools, Google developer tools, dspace, Mobile device adaptation. - In the use and of graphic design and integration development and support of CSS elements. The role is also responsible to support operation, user support for application in production and troubleshoot when problem encountered.
