Videographer

Result of Service Video products (including video features from GP2022) ready for dissemination on the web, social media and at (virtual) conferences.

Outputs/work assignment: The consultant will produce video features during the Global Platform as well as collate, edit and produce videos using: - footage from online interviews, - footage sent in by the partners, - footage from online events, - stock footage, - existing b-rolls from UNDRR and other UN agencies.

Expected deliverables: Videos from the Global Platform 2022. Social media and web videos. B-Rolls. All videos should be delivered in electronic format (high resolution) soft copy as MP4 files.

Work Location home-based

Expected duration 28 working days over 2 months - from 1 April 2022 to 31 May 2022.

Duties and Responsibilities The United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) is seeking an experienced videographer to produce video features during the Global Platform 2022 as well as a range of video products for dissemination on the web and social media in support of its communications activities.

The videographer will identify relevant footage and conduct interviews online. The assignment may involve travel to conduct in-person interviews and collect B-roll footage.

The videographer will follow UN guidelines in the delivery of his/her assignment, which will be provided by UNDRR.

All footage will remain the property of UNDRR after the assignment.

Qualifications/special skills Academic Qualifications: - Advanced university degree (Master’s¿degree or equivalent) in communications, political sciences, journalism, or any other related area is required.¿ Experience: - A minimum of 10 years' experience in video editing and production is required. - A minimum of 10 years’ experience working in communications for an NGO, IGO, or equivalent is required. Language: - Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
