The United Nations Volunteers Program in Iraq is looking for 2 online volunteers to produce and edit 6 high-quality video clips (3 videos each) that will be presented during International Volunteer Day (IVD) 2020. Video editing should be made in accordance with UNV guidelines that will be shared with selected online volunteers. Online volunteers will be provided with short videos, along with guidance related to the expected outcome.

    The UN has declared the 5th December as the International Volunteer Day (IVD) to encourage governments to support volunteer efforts and recognize volunteer contributions to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at local, national and international levels. The UNV coordinates a campaign to promote IVD every year, building on the impact volunteers have on communities, nationally and globally, for peace and development. The online volunteers will help produce and edit raw videos collected from the field about the contributions of volunteers in Iraq and thank them for their efforts. The videos will be shared on UNV Iraq’s social media channels during International Volunteer Day (IVD) 2020.

  • Volunteers: 2 needed

  • 6-10 hours per week / 2 weeks

    Candidates should have professional video editing skills, as well as access to necessary video editing programmes. Please include examples of previous related work in your application. Speaking any two of these languages is plus: Arabic, English, and Kurdish
