The UX/UI Design Volunteer will ensure that the platform’s layout and functionality reflect universal design and accessibility principles, meeting the needs of users of different abilities and backgrounds. The assignment directly contributes to rebuilding youth infrastructure that is inclusive, usable, and equitable, aligning with Ukraine’s national recovery efforts and UNDP’s focus on human-centered design.
The Volunteer will be expected to: • Design user-friendly, accessible, and responsive interfaces for the tool. • Ensure visual consistency and compliance with universal design and accessibility standards (WCAG). • Create mockups and prototypes for testing with target users. • Collaborate with low-code builders, accessibility experts, and content teams. • Recommend improvements to enhance usability and inclusivity. • Support final visual refinements before tool delivery.
