Details

We are seeking the support of online volunteers to transcribe, translate and subtitle a series of videos, specifically 5 videos, each is up to 3:30 min. The videos are about the recruitment process in UNV. The selected volunteers will be responsible for transcribing them, translating them into proper Arabic and inserting the captions. The work will take place throughout the month of April. The volunteers will be contacted by email.

Translation and interpretation

The videos are explaining the recruitment process at UNV by providing tips from UNV recruiters, answering the most frequent questions received by candidates throughout the years regarding International and National UN Volunteering Opportunities.
Volunteers: 1 needed
6-10 hours per week / 6 weeks

We are looking for volunteers who are fluent in both English and proper Arabic, and who ideally have experience transcribing, translating and subtitling. Shortlisted candidates may be asked to translate a short paragraph as part of the selection process.
