UNFPA Lao PDR is seeking an Online Volunteer with strong skills in English and Lao to support us with the translation of key documents and messages as efforts of promoting visibility of UNFPA's work and its priority issues in Lao PDR. The Online Volunteer will support us with the translation of a maximum 30 English articles (Press release, stories, and documents) that will be uploaded on the UNFPA LaoPDR website into Lao and other documents requested by UNFPA Lao office from English to Lao language or vice versa during the contract period.

Translation and interpretation
● The translation of key documents and messages as efforts of promoting visibility of UNFPA Lao PDR's work and its priority issues in Lao PDR, particularly key issues around the Noi 2030 Framework and the campaign "Me, My Body, My Planet, My Future" that guides joint advocacy on investing in adolescent girls and young people (more info on these campaigns on our website). ● "Me, My Body, My Planet, My Future": is a campaign encouraging young people to take actions that help them know their bodies, protect their rights, and make informed choices, but also participate in the prevention of the environment. ● Noi 2030 framework: Noi represents all adolescent girls in Lao, the framework is based on engaging activities gender-sensitive to help protect girls rights: reduce out schooling, reduce early marriages and early pregnancies, fight gender-based violence, engage positively men and boys to participate into the promotion of women and girls rights.
