UNDP in Thailand is looking for an online volunteer to help us translate the project proposal from a Thai Civil Society Organisation on "Strengthening the local capacity through Community-based economics in responding to the COVID-19". The text to be translated is 4 pages long, including the project plan, the background, and the budget.

    UNDP is working with the Royal Thai government, civil society, national partners, and the Thai public to help find solutions to persistent development challenges. In responding to the COVID-19 Pandemic, UNDP will be giving a grant to the Civil Society Organisation (CSOs) in Northern Thailand to reach out to the most vulnerable group (especially, the ethnic minorities) to prepare and better respond to the COVID-19 development challenges. The proposal and the grant given to the CSOs will help UNDP understand the needs and able to established possible assistance towards the vulnerable group in ​which will leave no one behind.

  • Volunteers: 1 needed

  • 11-20 hours per week / 1 weeks

    Candidates must be fluent in Thai and English. Familiarity with technical terms related to local community, their livelihood, and local businesses. Previous experience in translating development documents will be considered a strong asset. A one-paragraph translation may be requested as part of the selection process.
