Two translators are required to translate a 2 hour long webinar from Spanish to English (and vice-versa) where UNDP's Flagship initiative "EQUANOMICS" will be presented to gender specialists from the different country offices in the Latin America and the Caribbean region.

We are seeking 2 Online Volunteers to support us by translating a 2 hour webinar on UNDP's initiative "EQUANOMICS" from Spanish to English (the first volunteer), and from English to Spanish (the second volunteer). To this end the Online Volunteers are asked: - To translate the webinar, which will be a 2 hour long session, from Spanish to English (and vice-versa). - Ensure the translation is concise, in line with our communications guidelines, and fits the audience

The Online Volunteers will have the opportunity to build connections with the Gender Team at UNDP's Regional Hub for Latin America and the Caribbean and learn about the ways in which the translated product contributes towards knowledge management within the organization.

Candidates should be native in Spanish and fluent in English. Familiarity with technical terms related to Economics, Finance, Fiscal Policy, and Gender Equality will be considered an advantage. Previous translation experience is considered an asset.
