With this task, Key Informant Interview materials will translated into Kurdish to be able to assess the current situation, and increase accessibility of documents to a wider audience.
The selected candidate will have the opportunity to provide translations to Key Informant Interview material for earthquake response in Turkiye, to take part in situation analysis, to increase accessibility and to assist aid operations.
We are seeking 1 Online Volunteer to support us by translating key informant interview materials of earthquake response from English to Kurdish. To this end the Online Volunteer is asked:
To translate the document, which is 11 pages (4874 words) long from English to Kurdish
Ensure the translation is concise, in line with our communications guidelines, and fits the audience
The selected Online Volunteer will be provided with the document in English language and Kurdish translations have to be delivered by February 16th end of day latest.
Candidates should be native in Kurdish and fluent in English
Familiarity with technical terms related to natural disasters will be considered an advantage
Previous translation experience is considered an asset
Working in the context of providing psychosocial support is an asset
