Overview

Translate a 1-pager document from English to French.

You have:

  • Native-level French proficiency and excellent command of English required.
  • Background in international peace and development cooperation preferred.
  • Experience in translation or interpretation would be an asset.
  • Availability of 1-5 hours per week for 1 week required.

The UN African Institute for Economic Development and Planning (UNIDEP), a Capacity Development and Training Centre of Excellence for government officials, legislators, and other multi-stakeholders, provides capacity-building programmes and platforms of policy dialogues. As a trusted partner of its member countries and a key policy partner of the Agenda 2030 and 2063, as well as Paris Agreement, UNIDEP is planning to organize a side event “Partnerships for a Free and Regulated Movement of People” at the African Regional Forum for Sustainable Development early March 2021. 1-pager executive summary of the concept for the above-mentioned side event has been prepared in English, which needs to be translated to French. The selected volunteer will translate the ca. 700 words document from English to French. The document is, and will need to be worked, in MS word file.
