Translation and editing of articles, from French to English

UNV's Regional Office in West and Central Africa (ROWCA) is looking for online volunteers who can translate from French to English articles and blogs for UNV's website. By doing so, The Online Volunteers will help increase the visibility of the UNV ROWCA activities. UNV ROWCA will give full credits to the online volunteer’s contribution. Articles and blogs are approximately 400 -600 words on general topics: peace building, portrait of a volunteer, etc.

  The articles to translate have been written by the United Nations Volunteers Programme. Often written and published in English articles are sometimes produced in French as we are in a francophone region. We are looking for online volunteers who are familiar with development concept and language and who will help us increase visibility of our regional activities by sharing their expertise in translation and editing.

• Volunteers: 2 needed

• 1-5 hours per week / 6 weeks

  We are looking for highly skilled translators • Very discreet, reliable , who deliver in due time • Previous within a UN agency is an asset
