UNFPA is looking for 1 online volunteer to help us translate pdf document about GBV from Kurdish to English. The document will be used by the organization to describe the NGO guidelines to work with women shelter. The text to be translated is 6 A4 pages.
- Translation
Translation and interpretation
The required documentation to be translated is Guidelines drafted by DOLSA to organize the work among NGOs and women shelters in Sulaimaniyah. GBVSWG members requested DOLSA to share to be used, discussed, and modified when required. The objective is to enhance and more coordination of NGO’s support to the women shelter under the support of UNFPA as GBVSWG chair and provide the overall coordination role. The action point is for GBVSWG chair (UNFPA) from the last meeting. DOLSA provided the document as described below in the Kurdish language. DOLSA requested to translate into the English language.
Volunteers: 1 needed
6-10 hours per week / 1 weeks
Candidates should be native in Kurdish and fluent in English. Familiarity with technical terms related to GBV will be considered an advantage. A one-paragraph translation will be requested as part of the selection process.
