El Marco mundial Kunming-Montreal de la diversidad biológica, establece un ambicioso plan, para poner en marcha acciones que resulten transformadoras de la relación de nuestras sociedades con la diversidad biológica para 2030, en consonancia con la Agenda 2030 para el Desarrollo Sostenible y sus Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible, de forma tal de hacer realidad la visión compartida de vivir en armonía con la naturaleza hacia el 2050.
En el contexto de puesta en marcha del nuevo marco mundial de la diversidad biológica, y teniendo en consideración que las Estrategias Nacionales de Biodiversidad y sus Planes de Acción (NBSAPs) no están plenamente alineados con este nuevo marco, el Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Desarrollo ha propuesto al Fondo Mundial para el Medio Ambiente (GEF) el desarrollo de un proyecto global para apoyar a las Partes del convenio en la adopción de medidas tempranas para alinear los marcos nacionales sobre biodiversidad, al marco global post-2020 de la misma.
El proyecto PNUD-GEF de Apoyo a la Acción Temprana del Marco Global de Biodiversidad (GBF EAS) del FMAM apoya a los países en desarrollo, de renta media y pequeños Estados insulares en sus compromisos con el Convenio sobre la Diversidad Biológica (CDB): acción temprana sobre el Marco Global de Biodiversidad (GBF) post-2020, Estrategias y Planes de Acción Nacionales sobre Biodiversidad (EPANB), Informes Nacionales. Este proyecto pone en contacto a los responsables de las políticas de biodiversidad, los agentes del cambio y los expertos en la materia sobre el terreno para facilitar la aplicación del marco mundial de biodiversidad del CDB y la consecución de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible.
We are seeking one Online Volunteers to support us by translating a document on biodiversity topic from english to spanish. To this end the Online Volunteers are asked: - To translate the document, which is 4,217 number of words - Ensure the translation is concise, in line with our communications guidelines, and fits the audience
The selected Online Volunteers will be provided with the document in the original language and will receive guidance on the target audience and our communications guidelines as well as other guidance as needed.
The Online Volunteers will have the opportunity to build connections with the team and learn about the ways in which the translated product.
Candidates should be native in English and fluent English. Familiarity with technical terms related to biodiversity topic will be considered an advantage. Previous translation experience is considered an asset.
