Translate materials for UNICEF's MENA communication efforts
You have:
- Experience in English to Arabic translation
- Produce a 100% accurate translation of English text to Arabic
- Able to translate official names of institutions, organizations and projects
- Ensure Arabic language excellence and proofreading
- Deliver for the agreed deadline the translated materials
- Uphold confidentiality and completing the translation perfectly and promptly
- In possession of at least first University degree

The volunteer will support UNICEF Communication for Development Section (C4D) for the MENA region - in translating from English to Arabic, communication materials such as brochures and research briefs. From 6 to 10 communication materials of 1 to 2 pages each will have to be translated.

Translation and interpretation
Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) is one of the key pillars of UNICEF’s COVID-19 response in Middle East and North Africa region. UNICEF Communication for Development is co-leading COVID-19 RCCE efforts at the Interagency level (jointly with WHO and IFRC) as well as leading UNICEF RCCE work (together with key sectors, divisions and programs). We aim to distribute RCCE communication and research products in multiple languages for wider reach and utilisation.
Volunteers: 2 needed
1-5 hours per week / 16 weeks
- Experience in English to Arabic translation 2. Produce a 100% accurate translation of English text to Arabic 3. Able to translate official names of institutions, organizations and projects 4.
