OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME

Fournir des conseils et soutenir le renforcement descapacites, le suivi de la mise en œuvre des plans de travail, l'etablissementde rapports et la supervision de tous les aspects des activites de la SRMNIAdans le pays, y compris la documentation et le partage des meilleures pratique;Aider le pays a consolider les informations et lesrenseignements relatifs aux donnees sur la SRMNIA afin de mettre en evidenceles progres realises et d'identifier les defis a relever pour atteindre lesobjectifs programmatiques et, sur la base de ces documents, determiner le soutien technique necessaire pour ameliorer ou maintenir les progres ; Promouvoir et coordonner l'appui technique au domainenational de la SRMNIA en veillant a une integration efficace avec d'autresprogrammes de l'OMS, notamment le Programme elargi de vaccination (PEV) etl'Initiative mondiale pour l'eradication de la poliomyelite (IMEP), et atravers les differents niveaux de l'Organisation, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, le suivi des tendances liees a la sante et au bien-etre, la couverturedes interventions fondees sur des preuves pour les femmes, les nouveau-nes, les enfants et les adolescents;Veiller a ce que le soutien technique tienne compte des questions de transmission du VIH, de la syphilis et de l'hepatite B de la merea l'enfant, des droits de l'homme et de l'equite entre les sexes, desdeterminants sociaux de la sante et de la collaboration multisectorielle;Servir de reference scientifique et technique dans le pays, aupres des associations professionnelles, des universites et des institutions de recherche, des agences des Nations Unies et d'autres parties prenantes, avec le soutien du bureau regional et en reliant les trois niveaux de l'organisation; Plaider pour le renforcement des partenariats strategiques, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, en redigeant des propositionset en participant de maniere proactive aux campagnes de mobilisation des ressources pour la SRMNIA;Assumer d'autres responsabilites connexes selon les besoins, y compris le remplacement et le soutien d'autres personnes, le cas echeant.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Diriger, coordonner et gerer la SRMNIA au Bureau de l'OMS dans le pays en veillant a ce que tous les aspects de l'elaboration et de la mise en œuvre des plans de l'OMS dans le pays pour ameliorer la sante et le bien-etre des femmes, des nouveau-nes, des enfants et des adolescents dans le cadre du continuum de la vie dans le pays.

Des competences averees en gestions de programme deSRMNIA, de preference dans le cadre de programmes de sante publique dans uncontexte de ressources limitees. Une connaissance du systeme national de santedes pays a ressources limitees.Une experience averee en matiere de collaboration intersectorielle et une capacite a travailler avec d'autres agences et partenaires de developpement. Une expertise technique et une attitude globalement positive a l'egard du travail font partie des competences obligatoires requises.Une experience soutenue et des competences averees en analyse des donnees et redaction de rapports; solides aptitudes en matiere de redaction de propositions aux bailleurs et rapports ainsi que de coordination de partenaires.

REMUNERATION

WHO salaries for staff in the Professional category are calculated in US dollars. The remuneration for the above position comprises an annual base salary starting at USD 74,913 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable), a variable post adjustment, which reflects the cost of living in a particular duty station, and currently amounts to USD 4126 per month for the duty station indicated above. Other benefits include 30 days of annual leave, allowances for dependent family members, home leave, and an education grant for dependent children.
