You have:

UNDP Armenia and Tech4R are developing an integrated disaster risk data platform. To ensure it supports effective emergency response, GIS and remote sensing are essential to map hazards, monitor impacts, and visualize risks. Volunteers (GIS team) will contribute to building layered maps, processing drone and satellite imagery, and integrating spatial data into decision-support tools, Dashboard volunteers will form the technical development team, responsible for building and testing these solutions and Data volunteers will support field testing, ensuring usability, data quality, and multilingual accessibility.

The volunteers will provide support to their respective teams with:

GIS & Remote Sensing team: • Integrate GIS outputs with field-collected data and dashboards. • Provide technical guidance to national GIS officers and emergency teams.

The Digital Tool & Dashboard Development Support team: • Integrate AI or automation features and ensure dashboards are user-friendly, multilingual, and accessible to diverse stakeholders. • Conduct functionality testing, troubleshoot bugs, and refine workflows.

The Data Collection Support Volunteer will: • Conduct data quality checks, troubleshooting, and basic digital literacy. • Support translation and localization of forms and training materials into Armenian and Russian.

This is an unpaid volunteer assignment.
