Teach online English classes to young adults in Lebanon

You have:

  • Volunteers should teach English to young adults for 2 consecutive days.
  • Volunteers should be proficient in both English and Arabic.
  • Commitment to volunteer a minimum of 1-5 hours per week for 26 weeks.
  • Curriculum will be given to all the volunteers.
  • Class timings are from 3 to 4 PM Beirut time.
  • Applicants without CV will be rejected.

We are looking for volunteers to conduct online English classes for the young adults in Lebanon. The goal of these classes is to make the young adults communicate fearlessly, recognize their strengths, and most importantly develop the confidence to pursue their goals. Classes will be conducted on 2 consecutive days. Forum of Handicapped (FOH) is a non governmental organization that operates as an independent living for persons with disability. Its mandate is the work for the provision of a better life of persons with disability. Its main objectives are the defense of the rights of persons with disability and the work for their inclusion in society. Its board and general assembly are composed of a majority of persons with disability. It collaborates with many NGOs active in Lebanon. It is a member of the Lebanese Council of Disabled People. FOH implements many programs including health, educational, vocational, transport, sport, theatre, music, and scout, and job creation scheme.

    The mission of Ann Foundation is to give the right platform and learning opportunities to children, youth, physically disabled, and the underprivileged to attain their highest potential in their lives. Offering online English, Personality Development and basic computer literacy classes is part of our literacy project for children and young adults in various countries around the world. The knowledge and skills imparted through these classes, we hope students are empowered to become literate, self-confident, employable and independent citizens.

  • Volunteers: 10 needed

  • 1-5 hours per week / 26 weeks

    Volunteers should teach English to these young adults, 2 consecutive days. Curriculum will be given to all the volunteers. Volunteers should be committed. Volunteers should be proficient in both English and Arabic. Class timings are 3 to 4 PM Beirut, Lebanon time. Please apply only if these timings are suitable for you.
