How can you make a difference?

  1. Key responsibilities:

  2. Provide high-level technical support in the Talent Management System (TMS)

  3. Responsible for the design, customization and migration of reports and data quality assurance
  4. Provide Talent Management System (TMS) customer care and support services
  5. Maintain the TMS intranet site, maintain the knowledge on TMS based on Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ), design documentation on system changes based on new product specifications and draft and edits Talent Management guidelines, briefing notes, and other forms of communication on TMS for review prior release.
  6. Contribute to the capacity building of TMS users on new enhancements of the system.

    1. Expected deliverables
  • Effective technical advisory support provided to implement enhancements of TMS to meet new evolving needs;
  • New business requirements to be addressed in TMS closely coordinated with stakeholders, ICTD and PageUp;
  • The quality of the TMS Customer care - support services are enhanced and maintained;
  • Effective communication on TMS related matters ensured;
  • Technical issues during the implementation of TMS projects and initiatives timely resolved;
  • Capacity building of TMS users on new enhancements of the system timely supported.
  • The testing of the enhancements in TMS UAT as a result of the revised UNICEF Policy/Guidelines on Staff Selection is successfully completed.
  • All current Legacy Reports are successfully migrated to Enhanced Reporting, including new projects that require reporting needs.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

  • Education & Experience:

    • A University degree in human resources, business administration, international development, or related fields;
    • At least 1 year of professional work experience in a related field if the candidate has an advanced university master's degree. A first-level university degree in combination with at least 3 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree;
    • Experience in HR systems management; Experience in supporting the PageUp recruitment system management or other Talent Management System.
    • Experience with United Nations human resource management and/or training materials development;
    • Prior experience in delivering and/or supporting training activities is an asset;

Remarks:

The final evaluation to select the consultant will be done based on final weighted scores on technical competence (80%) and financial proposal (20%).

Individuals engaged under a consultancy or individual contract will not be considered “staff members” under the Staff Regulations and Rules of the United Nations and UNICEF’s policies and procedures, and will not be entitled to benefits provided therein (such as leave entitlements and medical insurance coverage). Their conditions of service will be governed by their contract and the General Conditions of Contracts for the Services of Consultants and Individual Contractors. Consultants and individual contractors are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws.
