You have:

  • Doctorate Degree on Project Development and Proposal Writing is required.
  • Masters Degree with more than 10 years of experience in proposal writing for Community Development is encouraged.
  • Experience writing proposals for Biodiversity Preservation and Conservation is required.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills are required.
  • Ability to work with people of different cultures and backgrounds is recommended.
  • Ability to work towards a deadline with limited supervision is important.
  • Research and analytical skills on proposal writing, project designing, and management are required.

Morobe Development Foundation Inc. (MDF) requires the service of an Online Volunteer with expertise in proposal writing to write a proposal for the organisation to deliver community-based social services that contribute to achieving locally-determined outcomes. The proposal will specifically cover the following areas: a) the running or operational costs of organisations that provide community-based social services; b) community development costs, training, planning, evaluation and facilitator fees; c) community projects or event costs that encourage participation in communities; promote community leadership; promote social, economic and cultural equity. The Online Volunteer will also need to work on the budget using guidelines provided by the Donor Agency. The successful applicant must have experience writing proposals for Biodiversity Preservation and Conservation and must have fair knowledge of Gender Based Violence and Women Empowerment for community development.

    MDF wished to apply for a Community Organisation Grant to sustain its work on GBV, Women Empowerment and other Community Development Initiatives and therefore requires the service of a highly skilled volunteer who can work with limited supervision and who can work towards a deadline. The successful application will be able to able to analyse situation and have a good research and analytical skills on proposal writing, project designing and management as well as monitoring and evaluation. The applicant must have written successful proposals in the past and must have a good communication and collaboration skills. An Online Volunteer who can work with people of different culture and background are highly recommended to apply for this role.
