This assignment is part of a larger project to build resilience to drought in the Great South of Madagascar. The volunteers will play a key role in ensuring that the dashboard and supporting content are available in Malagasy to facilitate local engagement and decision-making.
ICPSD is seeking 3 Online Volunteers with translation experience and knowledge of technical terminology. The volunteers will support the translation of the drought dashboard, from English or French to Malagasy. The Online volunteers will work closely with the project team to accurately convey technical terms related to GIS, climate data, and drought risk management.
The tasks expected from the online volunteers will include: - Translating dashboard content and supporting documents, ensuring accuracy and consistency in technical terminology. - Reviewing translated materials to ensure clarity and relevance for Malagasy-speaking audiences. - Engaging with the project team to refine translations and address any technical or linguistic nuances.
