Morobe Development Foundation Inc (MDF) is looking for two Online Volunteers with expertise in the topic of Gender Based Violence (GBV) who have experience and qualification in reviewing drafted proposals on GBV before submission. The two Online Volunteers will edit, structure and provide advice to further improve the drafted proposals to suit donors' requirements in collaboration with the the Foundations focal contact person. The concept note or proposal on review will be not more than 5 page. The Online Volunteers will not be asked to submit proposals on behalf of MDF or to negotiate for funds. A certificate of appreciation will be issued once the task has been successfully completed.

    Violence against women is very rampant in Papua New Guinea and Morobe Development Foundation Inc is working together with local partners and NGO's to use various intervention strategies to end violence against women and empowering the women folks in Papua New Guinea by facilitating community development initiatives to build their capacities. The proposals developed are diverse as we aim to cover all areas that the women folks in Papua New Guinea are lacking in terms of empowerment opportunities within their culturally oriented communities.

  • 6-10 hours per week / 4 weeks

    We seek highly qualified candidates with relevant academic background in Gender Studies and at least 3 years of work experience in violence against women and women rights projects. Applicants must have extensive knowledge on intervention strategies on violence against women and women partition at community level. Successful applicants must also have knowledge on Project Management, Monitoring, and Evaluation. Please attach your resume when applying.
