Going through ReliefWeb's editorial content dating back to the 1970s, the candidate(s) will choose which key reports, interactive products, training opportunities, and historical information on disasters and emergencies to promote through various social media channels. This content draws from more than 3,000 partners, including United Nations entities, NGOs, IGOs and academic institutions. The candidate(s) will also draft updates for Twitter and LinkedIn, as well as select accompanying photos, under the guidance of one or more ReliefWeb editors.

Selected candidate(s) will contribute to ReliefWeb's existing social media archive, with the intention of promoting evergreen editorial content on Twitter and LinkedIn from reliefweb.int. Specifically, the online volunteers are expected to: - go through ReliefWeb's existing content on disasters and emergencies from more than 3,000 partners and select key reports, interactive products, training opportunities, and historical information for social media content creation to be promoted through various channels. - prepare draft updates for Twitter and LinkedIn, and select accompanying visuals (photos), under the guidance of ReliefWeb editors

• Expert in writing and editing; • Knowledge of social media marketing; • Fluency in English; • Working knowledge of French and/or Spanish (ReliefWeb's two other primary languages) is an asset; • Past work with Trello is a plus, but not required (candidate(s) will be trained); • Ability to understand business goals and the target audience is desirable.
