Support MDF in Engaging and Onboarding of Online Volunteers in UVP

MDF is seeking to collaborate with Online Volunteers to help MDF to operate efficiently and effectively in managing the host entity account in United Nations Volunteers portal, the Unified Volunteer Platform (UVP), and to continue its collaboration with Online Volunteers through UNV platform, the Unified Volunteer Platform (UVP).

The assignment is necessary to support MDF in achieving its objectives which is to collaborate with expert online volunteers form around the word to build its capacity and support MDF's project in developing the rural communities in Papua New Guinea and contribute to the SDGs.

Based on the foregoing, MDF requires the support of a five online volunteers to assist the contact person for MDF to continue promoting MDF objective, vision and engage online volunteers who have applied to the volunteering opportunity and online assignment with MDF through the UVP. The online volunteers will gain experience in supporting the ongoing works of NGO in PNG to contribute to the SDGs and a certificate of appreciation from the UNV.

MDF requires the support of five online volunteers who are able to manage the portal by creating new opportunities. The task involves engaging online volunteers through the UNV portal, editing, publishing, screening, shortlisting and providing feedback on online volunteers at the end of assignment for certifying the volunteers through the UNV portal.

Online Volunteers will be engaged to address environmental, social and diverse issues that is affecting mankind. The online volunteers will be required to support under MDFs supervision and work in accordance with the UNV's Online Volunteering guidelines.

The 5 online volunteers will be certified through the UNV portal after the completion of this task and will be issued a reference from the Foundation accordingly. The successful applicant will take admin support role in UVP (UNV Online Volunteering engagement platform) and will engage other online volunteers who applied to the volunteering opportunity advertised by MDF to support MDF objectives and aim to meet the MDG and UN goals.

Volunteers will support the organisation's team in acquiring and onboarding new Online Volunteers. It would be best if you were proactive and organised, understanding and anticipating the organisation's needs.
