UNV is looking for 1 online volunteer to help our communication team with translating content from English to Arabic vice versa. The content will be used by UNV Iraq and will help us in our promotional efforts on volunteerism in Iraq.

Translation and interpretation
The UN has declared the 5th December as the International Volunteer Day (IVD) to encourage governments to support volunteer efforts and recognize volunteer contributions to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at local, national and international levels. The UNV Iraq collected raw videos from the field to highlight the efforts of volunteers responding to the COVID-19 outbreak and will share some of these videos in English and Arabic. Interested online volunteers will work with UNV;s communication team to translate some posts and videos from English to Arabic vice versa to promote volunteerism in Iraq.
Volunteers: 1 needed
6-10 hours per week / 4 weeks
Candidates should be native in [Arabic] and fluent in [English]. previous experience volunteering/working with UN entities will be considered an advantage. If you are a native Iraqi it would be much encouraging to apply. A one-paragraph translation will be requested as part of the selection process.
