With this task, OCHA is hoping to provide more counselling services to the dependents of staff member, in order to take care of their wellbeing.

The selected candidates will have the opportunity to provide group counseling session to improve the knowledge about reduce traumatic stress in earthquake-affected children and improve wellbeing to better support their quality of life and assist aid operations.

OCHA is looking for the support of online volunteers to provide psychosocial support to the dependents of staff member in OCHA.

Tasks include: Clinical counselling / providing psychosocial support to any dependent affected from earthquake requiring knowledge on how to communicate with the earthquake-affected children and assistance in responding the families. The online volunteer will perform group session in the case of children post trauma to the dependents of OCHA staff member experiencing difficulty coping and/or presenting mental-health related symptoms or syndromes for the children. They will be expected to set aside time for 2-3 counselling group session, each session approximately 1 hour-long, during the assignment to support the OCHA Staff Welfare Office.

Working in the context of delivering group psychological support Experience and Background on Children Psychology (especially on natural disasters trauma is an asset)
