The UNV programme maintains accounts in every region of its operations. In Europe and CIS all accounts have solid look and feel and mechanics of news/opinions circulation. Support is needed to expand UNV voice for its key audiences and strengthen UNV visibility among decision makes and candidates.
We are looking for 2 Online Volunteer/s who under the guidance of the Communications Officer and in close collaboration with the communications team support us by producing 60 of graphic designs for UNV Eurasia accounts on Fb, Twitter, and Instagram. In particular, the/each Online Volunteer is asked to: - Follow UNV guidelines regarding the style - Collect information about news or opinions from the existing UNV context (fully supported by UNV Communications Officer) - Create draft design based on requirements and discuss with the Communications Officer within set deadlines - Develop the final design according to the agreed requirements - Once per week translated the selected design to Russian and producing a version in Russian (UN language)
The design/layout should follow our corporate design guidelines which will be shared with the Online Volunteers in advance.
The Online Volunteer/s will have the opportunity to build connections with the organization and learn about the ways in which graphic design can support visibility and brand strengthening.
Candidates should have professional experience in graphic design with previous experience in designing document layouts, and must have in-depth knowledge of graphic design applications, as well as good verbal and written communication skills. A degree in graphic design or related field is considered an asset.
