Overview

Conduct a needs assessment to identify and analyze needs of vulnerable groups.

You have:

  • Professional experience of working in a humanitarian and development context.
  • Proven experience in the performance of needs assessment in relevant areas.
  • Degree in a relevant field.
  • Proficiency/experience in qualitative methods of analysis, including data collection.
  • Proficiency/experience in quantitative methods of analysis, including data collection.
  • Good knowledge of local context is considered an asset.

The overall objectives of this task is to identify the real needs in the catchments areas of the Communiques we serve. Online Volunteers’ contributions through this task will support your organization's efforts towards achieving the SDGs.

For the objective of this assignment, to conduct a needs assessment defining and analyzing the needs of Vulnerable group we serve , we are looking for 3 Online Volunteer/s. Specifically, under the supervision of our group, the Online Volunteer is asked to: - Prepare and conduct second desk review to identify needs in area needed; - Collect relevant data based on set parameters; - Conduct data analysis and report accordingly.

Candidates should have professional experience of working in a humanitarian and development context with proven experience in the performance of needs assessment in relevant areas. A degree in a relevant field and proficiency/experience in qualitative and quantitative methods of analysis, including data collection is preferred. Good knowledge of local context is considered an asset.
