BRD is an Afghan charity organisation working in the area of human rights, community development, social protection, environmental, climate change, protection of cultural heritage, and promoting good governance and accountability through civil society empowerment in Afghanistan. BRD intends to improve its communication and advocacy to public outreach and target groups, thus we are seeking the support of Online Volunteers through this assignment, specifically on website design and development.
BRD is seeking the support of 2 Online Volunteers who can design and develop BRD organisation websites in WordPress, hosted in MS Azure, with all the key functions, relevant tools, plugins, and content. Specifically: 1. One volunteer will be responsible for supporting the BRD in identifying and designing the website and theme structure, and configuration of the hosting platform user Azure/amazon server; while 2. The second volunteer will be responsible for the content design and development of the website. Including the development of simple instructions for BRD staff, to enable them to maintain the website.
- The volunteers should have knowledge about non-profit organization’s work.
- Specialized expertise in the design and development websites in WordPress theme, configuration of LMS and other relevant tools, expertise in working with WordPress website themes, MS Azure hosting, DNS, and Domains.
- Team player to guide other team members when necessary in digital transformation.
- Have the available time to work effectively and achieve the project within the provided timeline.
- English language proficiency.
