Job Overview/Summary:
The Supply Chain Assistant works as part of MHS Operations team to provide procurement and inventory support and services to MHS team in compliance of IRC and donor requirements.
Major Responsibilities:
- Assist in purchasing all supplies and equipment based on Purchase Requests (PR) for Mae Hong Son field office and ensures procurement processes follow IRC Thailand-Local procurement thresholds. - Assist the Supply Chain staff in photocopying and scanning all procurement documents for Mae Hong Son office. - Assist the Supply Chain Staff in maintaining and updating document filing system. - Assist the Supply Chain Staff to get invoice, receive, check, and record delivery of supplies from all vendors. - Assist in updating and maintaining the most up to date vendors information and files. - Assist in preparing payments via BvA system and submit to Finance Department on weekly basis. - Assist in performing inventory cycle count, annual physical and grant ending inventory, and report including with any discrepancy. - Assist in correct tagging of all assets following Asset and Inventory Report. - Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Position Reports to: Senior Supply Officer Position directly supervises: None Indirect Reporting: N/A Other Internal and/or external contacts: Internal: Field Coordinator, Finance Team, Operations and program staff. External: Suppliers and organizations providing procurement and logistical services to IRC.

Job Requirements:
Education: At least Diploma in Management
Work Experience: Experience in general or NGO Supply Chain is preferable

Working Environment:
The position will be based in Mueang District, Mae Hong Son Province, Thailand with occasional travel to Ban Mai Nai Soi and Ban Mae Surin Temporary Shelters in Mae Hong Son.
