You have:
- Good understanding of procurement procedure rules and tender documentation requirements.
- Experience in conducting tenders, preparing contractual documentation, accepting goods/services.
- Excellent command of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of the English language at a professional level is desirable.
- Fluency in the Ukrainian language is required.
- Relevant university degree in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management or equivalent professional qualification.

Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a leading protection agency with a mandate to protect, advocate and promote durable solutions for displacement affected populations.
DRC has been operating in Ukraine since 2014, currently DRC employs over 800 staff in Ukraine and will continue significant scale-up in 2024 to implement emergency response in the Protection, Livelihoods, Shelter/NFIs and Humanitarian Disarmament and Peacebuilding (humanitarian mine action) sectors, using direct interventions, support to duty bearers and civil society organizations (CSOs), and partnerships with CSOs. DRC will continue and adapt its durable solutions portfolio to the evolving context.
DRC is currently looking for a Chernihiv-based Supply Chain Assistant for its procurement activities.
About the job
Responsible for procurement of goods and services as per the assigned tasks, logistics functions at the Chernihiv Base level (storage, warehousing, transportation, etc.), and general logistics support to the program.
Main responsibilities
Following humanitarian principles, rules established by Donors and DRB, as well as Ukrainian legislation, with the method of supporting beneficiaries.
1. Procurement:
• Confirm purchases of goods/services/work before cancellation of purchase requests
• It is imperative that DRB prepare procurement documentation, including tender documentation, contracts and agreements
• Renewal of types Certain registries, the volume and other records accurately, timely, with the following types of benefits
• Ensure safe folding, signing, scanning, storage in the dark, archiving of other copies documents
• Ensure proper verification of postal shipments of the DRС
• Ensure control of the delivery of goods, verification during their pick-up
• Ensure the consistency of the original documentation in accordance with the legislation and the benefits established by the DRС
• Ensure the timeliness of payments and the provision of primary documentation from financial departments
• Run purchasing transactions in the Dynamics.
2. Fixed asset management:
• Receive goods related to fixed assets from suppliers, check them, issue them to customers as needed, organize storage and proper use
• Provide information on purchased fixed assets to the responsible person for subsequent entry into the fixed assets register
3. Warehouse management:
• Organization of warehouse support for projects in accordance with procurement and DRC rules
4. Other duties
• Cooperation and coordination with the programs and finance department
About you

• Experience in conducting tenders, preparing contractual documentation, accepting goods/services, mutual accounts with contractors
• Excellent command of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of the English language at a professional level is desirable
• Fluency in the Ukrainian language
Education:
Relevant university degree in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management or equivalent professional qualification.

We offer
- Contract length: Open-ended contract after successful completion of a 3-month probationary period.

- Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for national staff.
