• Solid experience working for an NGO or in the humanitarian field, preferably in the pharmaceutical supply chain or in a logistics role.
• Professional certification in supply chain management is desirable.
• Good command of English and Pidgin.
• Knowledge of French is an asset.
• Understand the socio-economic, cultural, and political context of the northwestern and southwestern regions.

The Opportunity

The Supply Chain Assistant is responsible for the coordination, management, and supervision of the project's logistics operations. As Supply Chain Assistant, you will ensure the efficient and effective delivery of program commodities, equipment, and supplies to all project beneficiaries and teams, optimizing service quality and cost-effectiveness. By guaranteeing the timely availability of essential drugs, materials, and equipment for 1,920 Community Health Workers (CHWs) and mobile clinic teams in hard-to-reach areas, this role is critical to attaining the project's health objectives and Plan's humanitarian and development mission in the Northwest and Southwest regions in the context of the ongoing crisis.

As Supply Chain Assistant, you will manage the end-to-end procurement process for goods and services in accordance with Plan International and Global Fund policies, coordinate the transportation and delivery of commodities to CHWs and mobile clinic teams, navigating the complex security and humanitarian context and maintain impeccable procurement records, track supplier performance, and ensure value for money.

As Supply Chain Assistant, you will serve as the primary logistics liaison with internal project teams and external health stakeholders for all supply chain activities.

The Individual

We are looking for someone with a bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
