UNDP is looking for four online volunteers to subtitle videos and proofread e-learning materials in Spanish for a course on Green Entrepreneurship. The e-learning materials consist of 31 videos of 15 minutes each (on average), 6 lessons with roughly 10K words each, and 12 worksheets of 10 pages each (on average). The course is scheduled to start in November 2021. The online volunteers will be introduced to the work of the Learning for Nature team at UNDP, collaborate with other volunteers on the team, and will learn about starting a green business.

Learning for Nature is the premier e-learning platform by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). It offers an extensive portfolio of e-learning offerings to promote best practices in conservation and sustainable development and develop the capacity of biodiversity policymakers, practitioners, and local and Indigenous communities. The “Green Entrepreneurship” course guides participants through their green business journey, from turning environmental challenges into green business opportunities, and defining a business idea to the commercialization of products and services. The course is offered by the United Nations Development Programme, Convention on Biological Diversity, EcoEnterprises Fund, FaithInvest, Fordham University's Gabelli School of Business, Lehigh University, Regional Activity Centre for Sustainable Consumption and Production, SEED, and The GEF Small Grants Programme.

Application is open for all nationalities. Candidates should have a native-level knowledge of Spanish and fluency in English. Familiarity with technical terms related to business and economic development will be considered an advantage.
