The Child Protection Area of Responsibility is looking for 3 volunteers to translate and proofread two documents - two competency frameworks on child protection - from English to Spanish. Two volunteers will translate the competency frameworks from English to Spanish and one volunteer will review and proofread the translations to ensure quality and consistency throughout the documents. The documents describe key competencies that child protection staff should have. The frameworks are 67 pages long in pdf format. The volunteers will be asked to start ASAP and work on the document full-time in order to finish the translation and proofreading within 2 weeks. The volunteers will be able to strengthen their knowledge of human resources and child protection during the process of translation. The work of the volunteers is highly valuable and will allow to make the competency framework available to Spanish speaking audiences.
