Contract
This is a UNV contract. More about UNV contracts.
In 2021 UNDP’s Somali Women Media Project (SWoMP), created the country’s first all-women media team – Bilan Media – and continues to provide them with support to challenge adverse gender norms, open new opportunities for women in professional roles and bring new subjects to public debate. In addition, the project supports other women journalists in the Federal Member States as well as advocating more generally for women journalists’ workplace rights and against online harassment.
In support of these efforts, UNDP seeks to engage volunteer translators to support training efforts and promotion of Bilan’s reporting.

Translation of Somali reporting about women in the media in Somalia, as required
