Morobe Development Foundation Inc. (MDF) seeks to collaborate with more volunteers to bolster its capacity to implement and expand its community development projects in rural areas in Papua New Guinea, as the contribution from volunteers will effectively address the pressing needs of rural communities, including improving access to essential services like healthcare, education, and clean water, as well as promoting sustainable development practices.

To that end, MDF is seeking the assistance of up to 10 Online Volunteers experienced in marketing and promotion, and proficient in utilizing social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. Their primary task is to promote MDF's social work initiatives focusing on the safety of human life, human rights, conservation forestry, tree plantation, and other related areas crucial for achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in PNG.

Online Volunteers will be engaged in creating up to 10 social media posts or articles, highlighting MDF's efforts in these vital areas. The content of the post/article will aim to garner more support and volunteer engagement from the community by emphasizing MDF's commitment to improving the living conditions of rural communities in Papua New Guinea while actively promoting the SDGs.

The promotion of MDF's initiatives through social media channels is crucial for attracting more volunteers to support the Foundation's various community projects, including those focused on Environment and Conservation, Climate Change, and other related fields. This increased support will not only advance MDF's mission but also contribute to promoting and supporting the UN SDGs in the country.

Under this engagement, the Online Volunteers will be assigned to: - Understand MDF's mission to help rural communities in Papua New Guinea and promote the UN SDGs. - Use social media platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter to share MDF's work. - Share MDFs website links and social media pages to increase visibility. - Create posts highlighting MDFs objectives and encouraging volunteerism. - Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages, under the guidance of MDF Focal Point. - Monitor social media performance and analyze data to improve impact. - Promote MDF's volunteering opportunities on various platforms to reach more people. - Support in promoting MDF's initiatives in Environment, Conservation, and Climate Change aligned with the UN SDGs in social media.

IMPORTANT Online Volunteers will not be requested to solicit funds or donations from third parties on behalf of the Morobe Development Foundation Inc. (MDF).

Marketing and Social Media: Proficiency in marketing and using social media platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. Communication: Strong written communication skills. Community Development Understanding: Knowledge of community development principles. Commitment: Dedication to MDF's mission of improving rural communities in Papua New Guinea. UN SDGs: Familiarity with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with MDF staff and volunteers. Creativity: Innovative thinking in promotional strategies. Time Management: Organizational skills to manage tasks within deadlines. Cultural Sensitivity: Awareness of cultural diversity. Language Skills: Fluency in additional languages is a plus and will be considered favorably.
