Overview

Provide social and behavioral data support for COVID-19 response

You have:

  • University degree in public health, social sciences, development studies, statistics, or related fields.
  • At least 2 years experience working directly on data analysis in a humanitarian or development organization.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Working proficiency in Arabic will be an advantage.

Under the guidance of the Communication for Development Chief in Iraq, provide social and behavioral data support under the country's risk communication and communication response to the COVID-19 pandemic (including vaccination demand). A report of 3 to 5 pages every two weeks. 1. Data Analysis: Collating and analysis of primary and secondary data from various sources including research studies and monitoring reports. 2. Editing and Writing: Reporting RCCE data-related updates.

    Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) is one of the key pillars of UNICEF’s COVID-19 response. Social listening is an important aspect of RCCE as it provides information about ongoing conversations on COVID-19, among other reasons. As the crisis evolves and the RCCE response expands, the collection, analysis, and use of social listening data will contribute to more localized, community-centric RCCE actions in Iraq.

  • Volunteers: 1 needed

  • 6-10 hours per week / 16 weeks

    1. University degree in public health, social sciences, development studies, statistics, or related fields. 2.
