Overview
Provide technical and operational support to Governance sector partners.
You have:
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences, community development, economic development, NGO management, Governance, or any other similar training.
- At least 2-3 years of professional experience in building the capacity of community-based structures and social cohesion activities.
- Knowledge of community engagement, social cohesion, peaceful conflict management and non-violent communication, community-driven development, participatory development processes.
- Experience working with communities, particularly in conflict-affected areas.
- Experience working with vulnerable people representing different backgrounds.
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating and working with local and national government representatives.
- Good ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Organizational and communication skills.
- Computer skills, especially MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Demonstrate tact and a keen sense of discretion.
- Arabic and English are essential (written and spoken).
