About the position

Position : Shelter Project Coordinator – Community Works Reports to : Shelter Programme Development Manager Supervision of: Project Team Leader Duty station : Maungdaw, Rakhine, Myanmar Travel % : 50% Duration and type of contract: Fixed Term Contract

Generic responsibilities of the position

These responsibilities shall be the same for all positions with the same title. The responsibilities shall be short and essential. Details belong in the Work and Development plan.

  1. Adherence to NRC policies, guidance and procedures.
  2. Contribute to the development of country, area and strategies; initiate and participate in the development of relevant cash for assets (CfA) and Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance (MPCA) proposals.
  3. Coordinate and manage CfA and MPCA project implementation (activities, budget follow up and project documentation, reporting) in line with proposals, strategies and donor requirements
  4. Implement technical direction and ensure high technical quality of projects
  5. Provide regular monthly progress reports to the Shelter PDM
  6. Support the development and management of project budgets (in cooperation with Shelter PDM and Area Manager NW) and coordinate across Core Competencies
  7. Collaborate with Integrated Program Manager on integrated programming, where relevant
  8. Ensure capacity building of project staff and transfer key skills and so on..
