Overview
Support the Ministry of Health in strengthening health systems and financing strategies.
You have:
- Master's degree or higher in Economics, Health Economics, Public Health, Public Policy, International Development, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in health financing, health economics, or health systems strengthening in low- and middle-income countries.
- Demonstrated experience providing technical assistance to government ministries, particularly in Southern Africa.
- Strong expertise in at least two of the following areas: health financing and resource mobilization, economic evaluation and priority setting, HRH planning and optimization, HIV program management, supply chain and quantification, or donor funding mechanisms.
- Proven track record of conducting advanced economic and financial analyses, including cost-effectiveness analysis, budget impact modeling, fiscal space analysis, or public expenditure reviews.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with high proficiency in Excel-based financial modeling and statistical software (Stata, R, or similar).
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing policy briefs, technical reports, investment cases, and presentations for senior government officials and donors.
- Willingness to travel within Lesotho up to 20% of the time.
