Under the supervision of the IRC in Denver Executive Director, the Senior Program Manager is responsible for oversight and implementation of the IRC in Denver portfolio of direct service programs benefiting displaced people and immigrants. The portfolio comprises resettlement and integration and economic empowerment programs which include federally funded programs Reception and Placement and Matching Grant among other state funded and privately funded programs. The Senior Program Manager will also support a wide variety of office management and administrative responsibilities. As a member of the Denver office’s Senior Management Team (SMT), they will contribute to long-term strategic planning and support implementation and achievement of the office’s strategic plan. Also, this role will represent IRC in the local community and engage regularly with external audiences to increase awareness, generate support, and raise visibility of IRC’s work and client strengths and needs.

Major Responsibilities:

- The Senior Program Manager coordinates closely with the Executive Director to achieve the following goals: - Compliance & Administration - Ensure that programs comply with all contractual, reporting, and match requirements. - Manage timely, accurate, and high-quality data collection across all programs. - Produce reports and impact data to provide insight to internal and external stakeholders and inform program design. - Maintain sound fiscal management and comply with all HR and donor policies and procedures. - Represent office and assigned programs with IRC headquarters (HQ). - Guide the implementation of HQ-led initiatives.

Program Oversight

- Promote client success and opportunities to thrive with a strong emphasis on empowerment and high-quality service delivery. - Ensure consistency with donor requirements and provide technical support, oversight, and leadership to internal and external stakeholders. - Forge strong programmatic linkages, coordination, and communication between all teams. - Proactively implement processes and procedures that ensure clients are connected seamlessly to relevant programs throughout the agency. - Promote strong relationships across staff and implement a client-centered service methodology. - Ensure that all program areas have clear goals, outcomes, and strategic plans leading to the sustainability and growth of programming.

- Demonstrated ability to promote an organizational culture that reflects IRC’s core values of service, accountability, integrity, and equality. - Commitment to leading in a way that recognizes that IRC’s work is best accomplished through the true collaboration and empowerment of individuals from many cultures with a great variety of skills and perspectives. - Strong experience with program and budget management, strategic planning, and conducting monitoring and evaluation activities to ensure program quality. - Solid relationship building, diplomacy, and networking skills; ability to effectively build internal and external relationships with donors, volunteers, community partners, government agencies, community leaders, clients, and colleagues at all levels. - Proven leadership and team-building skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English required. - Demonstrated success working and communicating effectively in a multi-cultural environment. - Self-starter with outstanding problem-solving skills, sound judgement, and the proven ability to prioritize and manage time effectively. - Attention to detail and accuracy in work product. - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook); ability to use the internet and other digital tools for data entry, research, and problem-solving purposes. - Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable, insured personal vehicle.

Working Environment:

- A combination of standard office environment and ‘field’ time within the service delivery area to perform the above responsibilities, with the potential for remote work on a limited basis. - Occasional domestic (non-local) travel required; up to 10%. - Occasional weekend and/or evening work required.

Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
