Furthermore, Indonesia has committed to meeting the target of Net Zero Emissions (NZE) by 2060 or sooner. UNDP through various projects on sustainable energy, innovative financing, and climate promise, has been supporting the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR), the Ministry of Finance (MoF), and the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (MoEF) in implementing activities to accelerate investment in renewable energy, energy efficiency, and access to energy; development of policies on carbon pricing instruments and MRV system; and incentive scheme for solar PV rooftop and carbon tax roadmap.
