Senior Grants Manager
Job Description
Grants Management, Compliance, and Reporting: ---------------------------------------------
- Responsible for grant compliance for IRC’s Access to Health grants and LIFT grant, providing grants compliance support and guidance to Programs, Operations and Finance colleagues; - Working closely with project leads, ensure regular and effective project cycle management meetings and follow-up of key grant compliance and grant management actions for Access to Health and LIFT projects; - Manage contracting and grant amendments for Access to Health and LIFT grants, coordinating with in-country, regional and HQ colleagues and coordinating reviews through the IRC’s online tracking system (OTIS); - Serve as the focal point for post-award communication such as prior approval requests with donors, for both IRC and partners; - Ensure all grant filing on OTIS, shared drive and hard copy is up to date for Access to Health and LIFT grants; - Update grants compliance guideline documents and stay up to date with all institutional donor guidelines, rules and regulations, and reporting templates; - Facilitate and support compilation, finalization and timely submission of quality narrative and financial donor reports, providing narrative report inputs as needed; - Support with required amendment processes, coordinating with partners on revisions in line with donor expectations; - Working closely with the Senior Grants and Partnerships Coordinator, lead on the development of proposals, workplans, budgets, and all other relevant documentation for project follow-on years.
Donor and Strategic Representation ----------------------------------
- Play a key role in consortium representation with partners, the Access to Health Fund Management Office and Fund Management Board, government authorities and other stakeholders, as appropriate.
Other Tasks -----------
- At the request of the Senior Grants and Partnership Coordinator, take responsibility for other projects not falling under responsibilities underlined in this job description.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline.
Experiences
- At least (4) years’ work experience in grant and/or consortium management for development or emergency programs. Previous experience with UNOPS or other multi-donor funding mechanisms highly regarded. - Proven capacity to communicate, coordinate and negotiate among diverse partners and stakeholders with high negotiation skills. - Demonstrable understanding of project planning and management cycles. Experience working with health projects considered an asset. - Demonstrated successful experience in donor reporting and compliance, particularly UNOPS Access to Health and LIFT.

- Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements. - Ability to work well under pressure, problem-solve and build consensus. - Excellent computer skills, particularly in Word and Excel.
Language
- Excellent professional fluency in spoken and written English and Myanmar essential.
Myanmar nationals with relevant skills sets and proven experience of working at international level are strongly encouraged.
