Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records as Chief Accountant.

You have:

University degrees in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
Five or more years of progressive general ledger accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a Chief Accountant or Senior Accountant role.
Minimum 2 years of experience in the finance/accounting department of NGO or local charitable organization is highly preferred.
Demonstrated competency with computerized general ledger software (BAS is strictly required).
Advanced computer skills in MS Office programs.
Strong practical knowledge of Ukrainian electronic document management systems (Vchasno, M.E.Doc) and digital signature compliance (КЕП/ЕЦП).
Deep and up-to-date knowledge of Ukrainian accounting standards (UA GAAP) and tax laws.
Expertise in non-profit tax regulations, humanitarian aid legislation, tax-exempt transactions.
Prior team management experience with proven ability to supervise, mentor, and organize the work of assistant accountants.
Exceptional organizational, time-management, and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
Proficiency in Ukrainian. English skills will be an advantage but not critical for the position.
