KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)

SCOPE is WFP’s Beneficiary and Transfer management platform that supports the WFP programme intervention cycle from beginning to end. Under the overall responsibility of the SCOPE Operations Officer, the incumbent will be responsible to contribute to the implementation of SCOPE and managing SCOPE activities for WFP in Bangladesh. This includes advice and support to WFP team in the field and cooperating partners for operations, decisions, and other relevant guidelines with frequent missions to areas of implementation The SCOPE Operations Associate will be assigned the following duties -

1. Support the day-to-day activities of the Team including supervision of the ongoing operations and activities such as Beneficiary data management and distribution. 2. Carry out baseline assessments and track business requirements to ensure efficient management of change. 3. Identify functionality gaps arising from deep field operational requirements and suggest improvements to methods and processes to support the continuous improvement of operation and services. 4. Test and analyze IT solutions in relation to SCOPE and document the match against business requirements for quality and accuracy 5. Analyze beneficiary database updates and ensuring the data quality is maintained. 6. Monitor and analyze performance trends of IT and digital activities and propose improvements and optimization of resources. 7. Establish and maintain close partnerships with stakeholders to effectively meet their needs. 8. Identify commonly recurring issues for assistance and provide advice on how those can be prevented or minimized through training, user awareness, changes in configuration. 9. Provide second level support for the Beneficiary Service Desk to ensure calls from beneficiaries are attended to and organize the beneficiaries complain, feedback, incidents, and inquiries in a form of report to management. 10. Support the end-to-end Beneficiary data management, project/intervention setup, SCOPE Mobile registration Application, Assistance cards printing and support POS operations. 11. Perform other related duties as assigned.

STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, CSE or other disciplines is required. Masters or equivalent will be an advantage. Experience: At least 5 years of experience with 3 years of experience in in IT, Beneficiary data management tools or Relevant Fields in humanitarian response is required.

Ideally the staff member should have experience in: • Has progressive experience in Beneficiary data management tools/system, information systems and/or business systems implementation and Programme implementation • Experience in implementing SCOPE database and transfer mechanism is added advantage. • Has experience in service provision and support Desirable Knowledge & Skills: • Awareness of overall IT governance structure and system architecture development to support processes and assist in design of interaction between systems. • Demonstrate continuous updates of knowledge about new technologies and product modifications. • Understand and follow established standards and protocols for service excellence in IT operations to maintain quality of delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction. • Exhibit detailed understanding of customer IT requests to effectively address and manage internal customers ‘needs including identification of recurrent issues to propose long-term solutions. • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with a range of individuals to provide a high-quality support service. • Good communication skills required to give and receive information and work with a variety of individuals. • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, coordinate workloads, and work under pressure to meet deadlines. • Ability to be creative yet analytical with a logical mind and an eye for detail. • Ability to work unsupervised and under own initiative Languages: • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English. Knowledge of local language will be an advantage
