Russian/English Translation of the course "Explore your Changemaker Potential"

We are looking for two Online Volunteers who will be available to translate a micro learning corse in support of the Youth and Women's empowerment team of UNITAR. The translation task is estimated to 7000 words in total. Online Volunteers will be expected to complete tasks with the utmost professionalism and deadlines will be mutually agreed upon.

  The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) is a training arm of the UN system with a mandate related to building capacities for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development through outcome-based training and learning initiatives. The Division for Peace strives to support the (re-)establishment of peaceful, just and inclusive societies by enabling individuals, institutions and organizations to contribute meaningfully to sustainable peace. As part of UNITAR's commitments to empowering youth through capacity building, the course Explore your Changemaker Potential is aimed at boosting the inner strengths & potential of youth to initiate positive change in their community.

• Volunteers: 2 needed

• 6-10 hours per week / 24 weeks

  Previous experience in translation (English-Russian and Russian-English); Knowledge of the African Union (AU) and United Nations (UN) terminology is preferred. Furthermore, previous experience in translation for international organizations is desirable.
