The UNDP Crisis Bureau (CB), through Rule of Law, Security and Human Rights (RoLSHR), is working towards the implementation of this Strategic Plan outcome and output, by specifically supporting the reintegration of ex-combatants through the disarmament, demobilization and reintegration (DDR) of members of armed forces and groups and prosecution, rehabilitation and reintegration (PRR) of members of armed groups designated as terrorist organizations. UNDP also co-chairs the United Nations Inter-Agency Working Group (IAWG) on DDR together with the Department of Peace Operations. The IAWG was established in 2005 to develop and provide cutting-edge policies and resources to DDR practitioners. Within the context of the revision of the IDDRS and the Operational Guide, together with the recently launched UN DDR Resource Center, the objective of this UN Online Volunteering opportunity is to identify and meet the translation needs (English to French) of these key resources.
